Welcome to The Island House / Die Eiland Huis. 

The Island House / Die Eiland Huis is a loving home for children and adults suffering from a range of physical and mental disabilities - from Cerebral Palsy and Angel Syndrome to brain damage caused by severe abuse.

Our team of six carers have dedicated their lives to looking after and providing a home to seven very special people of all races who have either sadly been abandoned and have nowhere else to go or whose parents just need help in coping with the demanding needs of raising their children with such debilitating disabilities.

Our 'family' is very special to us. Each of their disabilities is so varied and every day brings new challenges and demands but we're not complaining - at the end of each shift we retire feeling exhausted but extremely rewarded knowing we're doing everything we can to transform the lives of these special people and help raise them in a loving home from home environment.
