OUR PROGRAMMES

Programmes are run in small groups with trained facilitators and require full participation, reinforcing accountability, commitment, and respect.

LEADERSHIP & FOOD SUSTAINABILITY INITATIVE 15-17 YEAR OLDS)
The Leadership & Food Sustainability Initiative is a six-week summer programme designed for students aged 15–17. Participants build leadership, communication, and teamwork skills through practical activities, mentorship, and group projects. The programme introduces financial literacy, entrepreneurship in music, and sustainability concepts connected to local food systems and community development. Students also gain exposure to workplace expectations, professional etiquette, and career pathways. Beyond the summer programme, participants remain connected to a year-round mentorship network that supports their continued personal and academic growth.
EASTER MUSIC INITIATIVE (YOUTH INTERNS 16-17 YEAR OLDS)
The Music Initiative is designed for students aged 16–17 and provides hands-on leadership experience through involvement in delivering the programme. Youth interns coach younger participants, support activities, and help maintain a positive learning environment. Working within a structured framework and clear expectations, participants build skills in communication, teamwork, responsibility, and leadership.
Through music-based activities and mentorship, interns gain experience guiding others and encouraging participation among younger students. The programme also introduces collaboration, performance-based learning, and the responsibilities of supporting a community-focused initiative while building confidence, accountability, and leadership skills.
NUMERACY & FOOD SUSTAINABILITY INITATIVE (11-14 YEAR OLDS & YOUTH INTERNS 15-17 YEAR OLDS)
The Numeracy & Food Sustainability Initiative supports students aged 11–14 through practical, hands-on learning experiences. The programme strengthens foundational numeracy skills by connecting mathematics to real-world problem solving and everyday situations. Students also develop resilience, focus, communication, and teamwork through structured group activities and workshops. Leadership development and personal growth are integrated into each session to help students build confidence both inside and outside the classroom. The initiative creates an engaging environment where young people strengthen academic skills while learning the value of collaboration and responsibility. Youth Interns aged 15-17 years old participate in all aspects of programme delivery.
YEAR ROUND MENTORSHIP
The Year-Round Mentorship Initiative provides ongoing support and guidance for young people beyond the summer programme. Participants remain connected to mentors, educators, and community volunteers who help them navigate academic, personal, and career development challenges. The programme adapts throughout the year to meet the changing needs of students through mentoring sessions, tutoring, workshops, and career exposure opportunities. Family engagement is also encouraged to help strengthen communication and support systems at home. The initiative creates long-term relationships that help students build confidence, accountability, and a stronger sense of direction.
